How the numbers work

Every creator number comes from one follow portfolio: what you would have held if you had followed every mention.

Buying: A long mention is bought at the stock's first close after the video, if that comes within 30 days. Another long mention of the same stock keeps it longer; it is not bought twice.
Selling: A stock is held until 90 days after the creator last mentioned it. A short mention sells it at the next close.
Weights: Every stock held weighs the same, every day. A day with nothing to hold earns the S&P 500, so it counts as zero against it. No fees.
Long and short: The main numbers are long only. On a creator's page, a switch shows the version where a short mention is followed as a short.
Measures: Returns over 1 and 3 months, this year, 1 year and 3 years, each also against the S&P 500 with dividends. Sharpe uses the 13-week T-bill. Alpha and beta are measured against the S&P 500 over 12 months.
Herd Score: For creators with 1 year of history, 10 finished bets and a mention in the last 182 days. Each of four parts is ranked among them: return vs s&p 500, up to 3 years 35%, alpha, 1 year 25%, consistency 20%, hit rate 20%. A short record is pulled toward the middle (by n / (n + 20), n finished bets). The score is the creator's tenth: 10 is the best tenth.
